7th Day, Wednesday July 10th

Chantal came and went with just an increase in winds - thankfully no rain since we had no A/C overnight.  Today was the last full day for most of our Crew.  All but 3 of us would head home tomorrow.  So upon getting things squared away in the morning, we headed out for one last dive with this group at the Dogs.

We dove the Chimney and it was a great dive, visibility wasn't the best we've had, but it was still good.  Saw some squid, a queen angle and many others. After the dive, we had lunch on the boat and headed towards Cooper Island, with a plan for possibly snorkeling the Rhone.  We got to Cooper and had lots of time and lots of free balls so we headed to the Rhone.  We snorkeled the Rhone and our newbies loved it.  After the snorkel, we decided Cooper wouldn't give us enough breeze - it was a bit too protected for lack of A/C.  So we headed for Norman, decided to stay outside the drake though and headed straight out from Salt.  Waves were big and we decided to have some fun so we just headed straight into them - crew on the bow loved it and I did my best to get them soaked :)

We arrived at Norman and decided on dinner ashore this being part of our crew's last night.  Dinner was great and after we headed back to the boat and relaxed before calling it a night.  No crazy partying tonight, but everyone had a great time!
